I am fascinated by images of ibex goats climbing vertical cliffs on a mountainside. They climb with such precision to escape their predators. These heights become a place of protection and security.
AMP. Psalms 18:33. Says, “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]; He sets me securely upon my high places.”
Every new day can be a challenge. We may have feelings of hopelessness and despair. Our faith is tested as we continue to stand on His promises for complete healing in our body, even when it cries out in pain. We wrestle with God’s timing, when we are still waiting for our prayers to be answered. We begin to question why our circumstances haven’t changed, and doubt God’s promises.
When we feel hopeless our response should be expectancy. God is still faithful and providing when our situation seems helpless and prayers seem to go unanswered. He will never leave us or abandoned us. His Word, brings life and changes how we begin to see our circumstances. We need to respond with Joy knowing He is working all things together. When we totally surrender everything, It changes us, it changes what we see. Even when I don’t see it, your working, even when I don’t feel it, Your working. He never stops working on our behalf. This song resonates inside of me. It has become like a record that is skipping and I can’t get it out of my mind. I don’t want it to leave, it becomes a declaration and reminds me God is still working, no matter what I see or how I feel.
God says I am wanting to lead you into the next season. It is a place where you have to be strengthened. It is a place of “new dimension” of my spirit. When I had Moses come up to the mountain, he had to climb and pursue what was waiting for Him. The way wasn’t made easy for him, but his eyes were fixed and obedient. My Spirit drew him to the place of Intimacy. It was there that I revealed my purpose and my presence. Do not become weary in your walk. The enemy wants to attack the legs, knees, feet of my people. Stand strong says the Lord. I will begin to strengthen the legs and feet of my people and will take you to heights that the enemy will not be able to reach. Keep looking up, keep moving, do not look back. Grab hold of the promise, it’s yours!
