Dee & Barb Schilpp have been married for forty six years and reside in Hopedale, IL and were members of Crossroad Full Gospel Church for twenty four years serving the church in various roles. Barb has been a Sunday school teacher as well as the Superintendent of the children’s ministry for crossroads and Dee served on the board.
When pastor Jim & Michelle Hawkins were called by God to move on, they chose to stay and support the new pastors, Barry and Janice Gamage.
Over the years, Dee & Barb have both worked in the church in whatever capacity was needed to help the body and leadership to know and walk in the love of Jesus, not only in the church but taking the gospel out to the hurting and the lost that they meet in their journey with the Lord.
Dee was asked to continue to stay on as deacon for New Pointe Church as well as helping with running sound. Barb is now the Coordinator of the Nursery, a minister in the Healing Rooms and has the privilege of now teaching an evening Bible Study for Women of Purpose.
Dee & Barb have two sons who have grown up knowing and loving Jesus and letting the Lord use them for His work. They also have two grandchildren that are following in their parents footsteps serving the Lord.
